Featured Matchup🎰
Anaheim Ducks @ Seattle Kraken
Model Predicts- Kraken ML, UNDER 6, Ducks +1.5
The Anaheim Ducks will begin a five-game road trip on Tuesday, with the first stop coming in Seattle, Washington to take on the Kraken.
Anaheim enters tonight’s matchup with a 24-43-4 record following an overtime loss to the Lightning on Sunday, placing the Ducks in seventh place in the the Pacific Division. Meanwhile, Seattle sits one spot higher in the same division, but enters tonight on an eight-game losing streak.
Neither one of these teams is playing good hockey at the moment, a big reason why our model is forecasting a low-scoring game here. Now, let’s take a look at our best bet for tonight’s matchup between the Ducks and Kraken.
Anaheim Ducks
Coming off loss to Lightning in last game
Lost 3-2 in overtime. Outshot Tampa Bay 32-27
Own 2-7-1 record in last ten games
Wins came against Blackhawks and Senators
Rank 31st in xGF/60 (2.05) in 5-on-5 situations in that time
Expected goalie- John Gibson
,908 Save % in 5-on-5 situations. Ranks 82nd in Goals saved Above Expected (GSAx) with -6.6
Seattle Kraken
Coming off loss at home to Montreal Canadiens
Lost game 5-1. Went down 4-0 in first period
Loss to Montreal was the eighth-consecutive loss
Expected goalie- Philipp Grubauer
.908 Save % in 5-on-5. Ranks 81st in GSAx (-6.5)
What’s the Play?
Anaheim and Seattle have played brutal hockey over the last two weeks, and as a result we are going to take the under here at its current total of six goals.
Gibson and Grubauer are by no means strong forces in net, but neither one of these teams has proven that they will exploit either sub-par goaltender. Seattle has scored one goal or less in six of the last eight games, while Anaheim has been held to two scores or less in five of the last six, further highlightning just how cold both groups are.
If there is a bright side for either team, its that Seattle’s defense ranks inside the top1- in xGA/60 during its losing streak, which should only further help the under by keeping Anaheim’s already weak offense in check. We don’t expect much scoring here, so we’ll be on the under.
The Play: Under 6 (-120)

Josh, 22, is set to make his NHL debut against Columbus after leading Tucson with 26 goals and 20 assists in 62 games. Growing up in the Phoenix area, he follows in his father's footsteps, who spent 21 seasons with the Coyotes, most of them as captain, and currently serves as a special advisor to the Toronto Maple Leafs' GM.
🙌 Vegas’ overtime heroics lead to win over Blues. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird face off in the 1979 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship (Getty Images)
Anyone know what has happened on March 26th throughout history? We didn’t have a clue either, but it appears that it has been a busy day.
On March 26th…
1972- The Los Angeles Lakers set a new NBA record for wins in a regualr season. Los Angeles set the high point with 69 wins and just 13 losses. The record would stand for 24 years, that is until Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won 72 games during the 1995-96 season.
1979- The 41st NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship is contested between Michigan State and Indiana State. The Spartans defeated the Sycamores 75-64 in what was the highest-rated game in the history of televised college basketball. The game also marked the start of one of the greatest basketball rivalries between two players, with those players being Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.
2001- Tiger Woods win the PGA Tour’s Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Woods shot 5-under par to move to 14-under for the tournament, defeating Vijay Singh by one stroke. The victory was the first for Woods at the Players Championship, and he would go on to win again in 2013.
