Today’s Model Predictions
Eight NBA games are scheduled to take place today. Our model’s predictions for all eight matchups can be found below.

Featured Matchup🎰
Toronto Raptors @ Milwaukee Bucks
Model Predicts- Bucks ML, OVER 227.5, Bucks -7.5
The Toronto Raptors will wrap up a five-game road trip on Tuesday, with the final stop coming in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to take on the Bucks.
Toronto enters tonight’s matchup in the midst of a slump, one that has seen the Raptors go winless during their road trip. The recent struggles have the Raptors sitting in 15th place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-9 record, and surprisingly the Bucks aren’t far behind, posting a 2-8 record through 10 games.
Milwaukee and Toronto each sit in the basement of the Eastern Conference, but our model still projects both squads to pour on the points this evening. Let’s take a look at why that is.
Toronto Raptors
Enter today on four-game losing streak
Losses to Nuggets, Kings, Clippers, and Lakers
Own -39 point differential in that span
Defense has been an issue during road trip and for most of season
Last four games- 122.0 Defensive Rating (29th in NBA). Opponents shooting 48.4% from floor and scoring 117.8 points per game
Whole season- 120.0 Defensive Rating (30th in NBA). Opponents shooting 48.5% from floor and scoring 122.7 points per game
Dealing with injuries to several key players
Scottie Barnes, Kelly Olynyk, and Bruce Brown are OUT. Immanuel Quickley is questionable
Milwaukee Bucks
Have lost four of five games to begin November
Two losses to Cavaliers, one loss to Knicks, one loss to Celtics
Own -8 point differential in five games. Only win came against Utah Jazz
Just like Toronto, defense has held team back this season
Rank 22nd in Defensive Rating at 115.7. Sits at 115.0 since November 1st
Weakness comes on the perimeter- opponents shooting 37.3% from three this season (fourth-highest rate in NBA)
Key players are on injury report, but some are expected to play
Khris Middleton and Damian Lillard are OUT. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Gary Trent Jr. are probable
What’s the Play?
Toronto and Milwaukee have been among the NBA’s worst on the defensive end of the floor this season, and we agree with our model that trend will continue tonight. As a result, we’ll back the over here.
One big factor in this game is going to be the pace of play. Per NBA.com, Toronto and Milwaukee each rank in the top-13 of the NBA in Pace this season, meaning both squads are generating possessions at a a high rate. Neither offense is particularly strong, but the Raptors and Bucks will have plenty of opportunities to find the bottom of the bucket tonight, even with a guy like Damian Lillard sidelined.
Additionally, both teams are weakest on the perimeter on the defensive end, with Toronto allowing opponents to shoot 35.6% from three and Milwaukee’s opponents hitting three pointers at a 37.3% clip. Combining that with the projected fast pace of play is key for a high-scoring contest.
Our model projects roughly 232 points to be scored in this matchup, well above the total of 227.5 on most sportsbooks. So, we will take the over here.
The Play: Over 227.5 (-110)

News Around the League
🤕 Pelicans preparing to be without Williamson for 4-6 weeks. The New Orleans Pelicans expect Zion Williamson to miss 4-6 weeks due to a hamstring strain, with his return dependent on rehab progress, though the timeline remains uncertain. The team is struggling with injuries to key players, including Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, and Herb Jones. Currently, the Pelicans hold a 3-8 record and sit 14th in the Western Conference, and any additional injuries hurt their chances of climbing the standings.
💪 Donovan Mitchell’s 36 points leads Cavaliers to 12th win of season. Donovan Mitchell scored a season-high 36 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 119-113 victory over the Chicago Bulls, extending their season-opening win streak to 12 games. The Cavaliers rallied late after trailing in the third quarter, with contributions from Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and a strong bench effort, while Chicago struggled with 20 turnovers. Zach LaVine’s 26 points weren’t enough for the Bulls, who have now lost five of their last six games.

The honor came after a dominant season on the mound by Glavine, one in which he posted a 20-11 record and 2.55 ERA across 242.6 innings. It was the first time Glavine won the Cy Young award in his career, and he would win it for a second time in 1998.
