Today’s Model Predictions
Eight NBA games are scheduled to take place today. Our model’s predictions for all eight matchups can be found below.

Featured Matchup🎰
Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics
Model Predicts- Celtics ML, OVER 224, Bucks +9
The Milwaukee Bucks will hit the road for just one game on Wednesday night, making the journey to Boston, Massachusetts to take on the Celtics.
Milwaukee enters tonight’s matchup well behind the Celtics in the Eastern Conference standings, but still owns an impressive 44-24 record following consecutive wins over the 76ers and Suns at the end of last week. Meanwhile, Boston is 54-14 for the season and sits in first place in the East by 10 games.
A heavyweight battle is on the horizon tonight at TD Garden, and our model believes the Celtics will emerge victorious in a high-scoring game. Let’s take a look at why that is.
Milwaukee Bucks
Enter tonight on two-game win streak
Wins over 76ers and Suns
+20 point differential in that stretch
Have been one of worst defensive teams this month despite wins
Own 119.5 Defensive Rating since March 1st- 28th in NBA
Opponents averaging 116.4 points per game while shooting 50.1% overall and 42.4% from three
Injuries- Giannis Antetokounmpo and MarJon Beauchamp are questionable
Boston Celtics
Have run over every opponent in last two weeks
6-0 record in last six games. Winning by average margin of 19 points per game in that time
Dominating on both ends of court this month
Own +19.6 Net Rating since March 1st- 1st in NBA by 6.1 points
Offense has been the biggest factor- 127.3 Offensive Rating
Injuries- Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Sam Hauser are questionable
What’s the Play?
Betting the over hasn’t been a friendly bet in the second half of the NBA season, but we agree with our model that this matchup is set up to be high-scoring.
Boston should have no problems finding the bottom of basket against this Bucks team. It’s a combination of the best offense in the league running into a bottom-three defense, at least at the moment, that is going to give Boston’s players opportunities to score from just about everywhere, especially from behind the arc, where Milwaukee is weakest.
However, Milwaukee has proven it can maneuver its way through Boston’s stellar defense. In two games against the Celtics this season, the Bucks own a 125.5 Offensive Rating and are shooting over 50% from the floor. That should lead to plenty of points from both sides.
The Play: Over 224 (-110)

News Around the League
🤕 Mitchell to miss time following nasal fracture. Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell will be re-evaluated in a week after having a procedure to realign a nasal fracture from a recent game. He missed a game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday due to the injury. Despite Mitchell's absence in some games, the Cavaliers have maintained a solid 10-8 record this season, currently holding the third spot in the Eastern Conference with a 43-25 record.
🚀 Green scores 42 to launch Rockets to sixth straight win. Jalen Green's stellar performance, tying his career high with 42 points, led the Houston Rockets to a dominant 137-114 victory over the Washington Wizards. Houston's strong third-quarter run, including a 25-6 surge, secured their sixth consecutive win and brought them within 2 1/2 games of the final play-in spot in the Western Conference currently held by Golden State. Despite missing several key players, Washington put up a fight, with Corey Kispert scoring 16 points, but ultimately fell short as Green's explosive play and the Rockets' overall performance proved too much to overcome.
