Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (USA Today)
Today’s Model Predictions
A big day of NFL football is on the horizon, with 24 teams hitting the gridiron throughout this afternoon and evening. Our model’s predictions for tonight’s matchups can be found below.
Featured Matchup🎰
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Model Predicts- Jaguars ML, UNDER 39.5, Titans +6.5
The Tennessee Titans will hit the road for the third consecutive week to take on an AFC south rival , the Jacksonville Jaguars, this afternoon.
Tennessee enters today’s matchup with a poor 3-6 record, a result of being 0-5 on the road. Meanwhile, Jacksonville is sitting in first place in the AFC South with a 6-3 record following a blowout loss last Sunday at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
Both the Titans and Jaguars are looking to get back in the win column, but some troubling trends for the Titans have pushed our model in favor of the Jaguars today. Let’s take a look at why that is and see our model’s best bet for today’s matchup.
Tennessee Titans
Have played horrific football on road this season
0-5 as the away team, 3-1 as the home team
-50 point differential on road, +24 at home
QB struggles are reason for road struggles
Titans QBs have combined to throw 0 TD passes on the road
Will Levis will be starter again
Third-straight start on the road
Has fallen flat since first start of season- 463 pass yards, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs in last two games
Jacksonville Jaguars
Blown out last week against 49ers
Lost 34-3. Out-gained 437 to 221
Performance doesn’t reflect strengths of defense
Group ranks 5th in run stop win rate, second in opponent rushing success rate
Getting healthier- Andre Cisco back in lineup
Trevor Lawrence still injured and struggling
Dealing with knee injury
205 pass yards or less in 3 of last 4 games. 4 TDs and 4 INTs in that time
What’s the Play?
Our model is expecting a close game today, which should be expected in a divisional battle. However, we’re going to roll with the under here.
Neither Levis nor Lawrence has been effective through the air in recent weeks. Levis exploded in his first appearance, but has since come back down to Earth and will be forced to put some life in an offense that can’t do anything on the road. Lawrence is also still dealing with a knee injury, one that has effected his mobility and the entire Jaguars offense.
The Titans likely won’t get much going on the ground today, meaning Levis is going to have to throw the ball. Expect Jacksonville to get an early lead and run the ball the rest of the way to take the load off Lawrence, which will put the under in a great spot.
The Play: Under 39.5 (-110)

News Around the League
🐬 Dolphins activate Achane off IR. The Miami Dolphins have reinstated rookie running back De'Von Achane from injured reserve, allowing him to participate in Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Achane sustained a knee injury in Week 5 after an impressive performance of 151 rushing yards and a touchdown, prompting his placement on IR. Despite the four-week absence, Achane leads the NFL in rushes of 40 yards or more (four) and shares the league lead in 20-plus-yard carries (six).
😞 Jefferson not returning from IR this week. Justin Jefferson's return for the Minnesota Vikings will be postponed for another week, as he remains on injured reserve and won't be activated for the Sunday night game against the Denver Broncos. Jefferson, dealing with a right hamstring injury since Week 5, has missed the last six games, with his potential return anticipated for Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. The Vikings, initially struggling at 1-4 following Jefferson's injury, have rallied with five consecutive wins with Jefferson sidelined, part of the reason Minnesota is remaining cautious with its star.

Today’s Model Predictions
The NBA has blessed us with a nine-game slate alongside today’s NFL games. Our model’s predictions for all nine matchups can be found below.
Featured Matchup🎰
Philadelphia 76ers @ Brooklyn Nets
Model Predicts- 76ers ML, OVER 223, 76ers -4.5
The Philadelphia 76ers will make a quick journey north to Brooklyn, New York on Sunday to take on the Nets.
Philadelphia has gotten off to a great start, entering today with a 9-3 record and sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, Brooklyn is just hanging on while they wait for some key players to come back from injury, posting a 6-6 record through 12 games.
Sportsbooks think this game is going to be relatively close, but our model shows a sizable edge on the 76ers here. Let’s take a look at why that is.
Philadelphia 76ers
Own one of the best scoring attacks in NBA
Rank 3rd in Offensive Rating (119.5)
Efficient shooting- 48.4% overall and 37.0% from three
Lack depth off bench
Entire starting lineup averages double-digit points. Three guys above 20.0 ppg
However, rank last in bench points per game (20.8)
No Kelly Oubre today- averages 16.3 ppg
Own average defense this season
13th in Defensive rating. Opponents shooting 45.8%
Brooklyn Nets
Very well-balanced
114.8 Offensive Rating, 114.3 Defensive Rating
Rank inside top-seven in opponent FG% (45.4%) and opponent 3PT% (34.0%)
Depth has played big role in keeping Nets in games
Rank 6th in bench points per game
Seven players averaging at least 10.0 ppg
Dealing with big injuries today
Will be without leading scorer Cam Thomas, as well as Ben Simmons
What’s the Play?
The Brooklyn Nets are a young team with several upcoming stars, but we agree with our model that Philadelphia can take care of business on the road here.
The absence of Thomas has hurt the Nets offense. Brooklyn has been without its leading scorer for the last four games, a stretch where Brooklyn is shooting just 45.6% from the floor and has been held to 107 points or less twice. Simmons being sidelined is also huge, as the Nets will be without their leading rebounder and defender.
It’ll be tough for Brooklyn to keep up with this top-heavy 76ers offense today without its best scorer and defender. Our model projects Philly to win by roughly seven points, so we’ll take them on the spread at 4.5.
The Play: 76ers -4.5 (-110)

News Around the League
💪 Holmgren, SGA lead Thunder to overtime win. Chet Holmgren's remarkable buzzer-beater against the Warriors to force overtime reminded the world that there is another rookie not named Victor Wembanyama in the Rookie of the Year race. Holmgren's extraordinary play, just 13 games into his NBA career, earned praise from his teammates and highlighted his highest-scoring game, contributing 36 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also played a key role in the overtime win, contributing 40 points on 62% shooting.
🐂 Bulls overcome early deficit to beat Heat. DeMar DeRozan led the Chicago Bulls to a 102-97 victory over the Miami Heat, breaking the Heat’s seven-game winning streak. Despite trailing 22-1 midway through the first quarter, the Bulls managed a comeback spurred by a strong fourth-quarter performance, halting their three-game losing streak. Jimmy Butler's 25 points weren't enough for the Heat, who lost their lead in the final minute due to Caruso's pivotal 3-pointer and DeRozan's decisive fadeaway.

Today’s Model Predictions
Five NHL games will be played today, capping off a a great week of hockey. Our model’s predictions for all five matchups are below.
Featured Matchup🎰
Toronto Maple Leafs @ Minnesota Wild
Model Predicts- Lakers ML, OVER 221.5, Lakers -4.5
The Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Wild will go head-to-head early Sunday morning, as both teams will square off in Sweden during the NHL Global Series.
Toronto enters Sunday’s matchup with a 9-5-2 record, picking up a win over the Detroit Red Wings to extend its current win streak to three. Meanwhile, Minnesota comes into Sunday in a four-game slump, with its last win coming on November 7th against the Islanders.
We have two teams trending in opposite directions here, but our model shows a larger edge on the total in this matchup as opposed to picking a side. Let’s take a look at why that is.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Picked up win against Red Wings in Sweden
Went down 2-0 after two periods. Scored three unanswered goals in third
29 total shots on goal. 15 came in third period
Defense has been biggest problem this season
Own 2.69 GA/60 in 5-on-5. xGF/60 sits at 2.78
Surrender 12.70 high-danger scoring chances (HDCA/60) in 5-on-5 situations- 7th most in NHL
Expected goalie- Joseph Woll
.909 Save % and .803 High-Danger Save % in 5-on-5
+2.9 Goals Saved Above Expected (GSAx)
Minnesota Wild
Struggling to get much going this season
In midst of four-game losing streak. -10 goal differential in that time
Have won three times in last 13 games
Defense has plenty of flaws
Rank 27th in GA/60 in 5-on-5
Allow 32.3 shots on goal per game
Worst penalty kill in league- Allow goal on 37.5% of power plays
Expected goalie- Marc-Andre Fleury
.914 Save % and .853 High-Danger Save % in 5-on-5
Ranks 71st out of 74 in GSAx (-5.9)
What’s the Play?
Our model shows a slight edge on the Maple Leafs today, but it shows a far greater advantage on the over at 6.5 goals, which is our best bet for this matchup.
Marc-Andre Fleury has been one of the worst goalies in the league this season. The defense in front of him hasn’t exactly been great, but Fleury gave up eight goals the last time he was in between the pipes, a total that should fall on his shoulders.
Toronto should find the back of the net often today, but its likely we see the Wild do the same against a defense that has already struggled and is due for some slight regression. We’ll take the over in this one.
The Play: Over 6.5 (-115)

⚡️ Lightning rally to take down Oilers. The Tampa Bay Lightning clinched a 6-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, with Steven Stamkos and Luke Glendening netting crucial goals within 39 seconds during the third period. Stamkos' power-play goal tied him with Jarome Iginla for 21st all-time, followed by Glendening's goal to secure Tampa Bay's lead, with Mikhail Sergachev sealing the victory with an empty-netter. Nikita Kucherov's two goals and an assist, along with Tanner Jeannot's contribution, bolstered the Lightning's performance, leading Tampa Bay to a rare comeback victory when trailing after two periods.
