Today’s Model Predictions
One NFL game is scheduled to take place today. Our model’s predictions for that matchup can be found below.

Featured Matchup🎰
Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Rams
Model Predicts- Rams ML, UNDER 49, Rams -2.5
The Miami Dolphins will hit the road for the second-consecutive week, taking their talents to Los Angeles, California to battle the Rams on Monday Night Football.
Miami enters this matchup in the basement of the AFC East conference, posting a 2-6 record through eight games that includes going 0-3 in the last three weeks. Meanwhile, the Rams own a 4-4 record this season, and have plenty of momentum on their side following a three-game win streak.
Miami and Los Angeles are trending in opposite directions, and our model projects that to continue tonight. Let’s take a look at why that is.
Miami Dolphins
Enter today on three-game losing streak
Losses to Colts, Cardinals, and Bills
All losses have been close games-Lost by six to Colts, one to Cardinals, and three to Bills
Defense has been bad during losing streak, especially over the last two games
Surrendering 24.7 points/game over last three games. Jumps to 29.0 in last two games
Rank 32nd in opponent EPA/play and 30th in opponent success rate since Week 8
Offense has improved with Tua Tagovailoa back in lineup
Averaging 27.0 points/game and 375.0 yards/game over last two contests
Los Angeles Rams
Enter today on three-game win streak
Wins over Raiders, Vikings, and Seahawks
Own +21 point differential in that stretch
Defense has stepped up in big way during win streak
Weeks 1-6: Ranked 31st in opponent EPA/play, 30th in opponents success rate. Held opponents to 6.2 yards/play
Weeks 7-9: Rank 2nd in opponent EPA/play, 4th in opponent success rate. Holding opponents to 5.1 yards/play
Offense dominating through the air in last three games
Rank 2nd in dropback success rate since Week 7. Averaging 240.3 pass yards/game
What’s the Play?
Miami has been in several tight matchups and has seen improvement since Tua Tagovailoa rejoined the lineup, but we agree with our model to back the Rams on the spread as a home favorite.
Miami’s defense was shredded by Kyler Murray and Josh Allen through the air in the last two games, allowing Murray to throw for 307 yards and Allen to record 231. That resulted in the Dolphins ranking 31st in opponent EPA/dropback and 30th in opponent dropback success rate in that span, giving Matthew Stafford a great opportunity to continue lighting up opposing defenses through the air.
Additionally, the Rams’ improvement on the defensive side of the ball during their win streak has been significant, putting a Dolphins offense that could be without Tyreek Hill in a difficult spot.
Our model makes the spread for this game roughly 3.5 points in favor of Los Angeles. As a result, we’ll back the Rams on the spread.
The Play: Rams -2.5 (-115)

News Around the League
💪 Drake Maye and Patriots take down Caleb Williams and Bears in rookie showdown. Drake Maye outperformed Caleb Williams as the New England Patriots defeated the Chicago Bears 19-3, with Maye leading five scoring drives and the Patriots’ defense sacking Williams nine times. The Bears’ offense struggled, managing just 142 yards and one successful third down, leading frustrated fans to chant for head coach Matt Eberflus' firing. With this loss, Chicago’s eight-game win streak at Soldier Field ended, while the Patriots capitalized on defensive pressure and efficient scoring to secure the victory.
5️⃣ Joe Flacco’s turnovers propel Bills to fifth-straight win. Taron Johnson’s pick-6 on Joe Flacco’s first pass helped the Buffalo Bills defeat the Indianapolis Colts 30-20, with Josh Allen and James Cook adding rushing touchdowns to secure the victory. Buffalo extended its winning streak to five games as Allen threw for 280 yards despite two interceptions, while Cook ran for 80 yards on 19 carries. Flacco struggled with four turnovers, and although the Colts briefly rallied, the Bills regained control to seal the win, overcoming several key injuries.
